NON-DESTRUCTIVE TESTING (NDT): WHAT ARE THEY?
According to the ASNT (American Society for Nondestructive Testing) definition, Nondestructive testing is ”the determination of the physical condition of an object without affecting that object’s ability to fulfil its intended function.”
The purpose of non-destructive testing is to determine whether a material or component is to be accepted or rejected for service.
